Question

What is the LCCP container and how do I use it?

Answer

Lexmark has a recycling program to return used toner cartridges and imaging units called the Lexmark Cartridge Collection Program

The LCCP containers are for retrurning used cartridges to Lexmark.

How to Assemble and Use the LCCP Container

1. You will receive a three-pack of LCCP Containers in an over-pack carton via UPS. The over-pack carton requires very little space measuring just 28”x40”x4”.

2. After removing one container from the over-pack box, follow the instructions on the container to assemble the container bottom.

3. Next, turn the LCCP container right side up and follow the instructions to assemble the lid.

4. After the lid is assembled, place the LCCP container in its location for use (near printing device, in mail room, etc.). The assembled container’s dimensions are 22”L x 16”W x 28”H.

5. Begin filling the LCCP container with used Lexmark supply items (toner cartridges, PC units, waste toner bottles, inkjet cartridges, etc.). The used item can be placed in the same packaging in which the new, replacement item arrived then into the LCCP container.

6. When the LCCP container is full, close the lid and follow the instructions for inserting the three locking tabs that secure the lid.

7. Place the full LCCP container in your area for UPS pick-up during their normal pick-up and delivery schedule. The UPS pre-paid label is already attached.

LCCP Container Auto-Replenishment

Because the three containers in a 3-pack have unique identifying codes and are associated with your location, when two of the three containers of a 3-pack are received by Lexmark, a shipment of a new 3-pack to your location is automatically initiated. This should keep your location supplied with available containers.

Emergency Reorder Options

Additionally, 1-888-896-9806 or boxes@lexmark.com can be used for any ‘emergency’ 3-pack needs outside of the normal fulfillment process. The toll free number will prompt you to provide your location’s information (company name and specific location address).

This same information should be provided if the email option is used.

If your location frequently returns a large amount of Lexmark supply items, you can also use 1-888-896-9806 or boxes@lexmark.com to request additional 3-packs to have available as needed.
