Question

When are the toner cartridges for the MS 725 and MX725 printers replaced?

Answer

Lexmark monitors our printer supplies in every printer as part of the service they provide.

Replacement toner cartridges are shipped directly to the store when the toner capacity reaches a certain level in the printer.

The Save Mart account is on a DDA (Days to Depletion) algorithm for toner replenishment.

This means that not only is the toner cartridge capacity monitored but so is its rate of use.

A printer with a 20% toner capacity at one store might be shipped a replenishment cartridge sooner then a cartridge at another store that is at 20% capacity because it has a higher rate of usage.

The DDA model for monitoring is very effective and has been very successful.
