Problem Statement:
Users are having an issue with formatting in putty sessions as they are seeing random repeating characters and also view is off. Some users who were converted from citrix to citrix cloud have reported issues with the settings being incorrect. See screenshot below.
Resolution
1. right click on putty icon in top left of session
2. Then select change settings
3. Under Window settings click on translation and in dopr down for Remote Character Set choose ISO-8859-1:1998 (Latin-1, West Europe)
4. Then click session at top of menu click on T&A select save and then apply at bottom
5. Have user exit putty session and then start a new one
