The likely cause is the PIN pad. The lane cannot communicate with it and waits for a response until it times out.


1. Verify the PIN pad is powered on and the company logo is visible with no errors.

2. Check all cable connections to the PIN pad brick. There are 2 ethernet connections that should be blinking green. There will be a third cabled plugged into the COM2 port.

3. If there are no physical problems the PIN pad XPI will need to be reloaded.
